Up to 15 eight-week summer County internships for young adults 18+ connected to Live in Peace in East Palo Alto and East Menlo Park.
Founded in 2022, the Live in Peace Hoover Fellow Program places up to 15 young adults each summer in eight-week internships across County of San Mateo departments. Fellows receive training, weekly learning forums, networking, and one-on-one check-ins. The program serves youth ages 18 and up connected to Live in Peace in East Palo Alto and East Menlo Park — participation runs through Live in Peace membership and referral, which is both the point (a trusted organization vouches for and supports each fellow) and the thing to know: the path in starts with Live in Peace, not a County application form.
YOUNG does not accept applications. Apply only through the original organization and confirm all requirements directly with the provider.
